Our first climbing area was interesting. It was right off the road, and there were gorgeous flowers everywhere. The climbing itself was fine though not my favorite.

We then headed to a second climbing area. It was absolutely beautiful. We went from roadside to middle of the forest in about 2 minutes!
For the record though, I did NOT like the rock here! It was so hard for me to climb! Didn't feel too bummed though because the views just made me smile.
After climbing most of the day, we headed into the town of Nurnberg to do some grocery shopping. While at the mall I had some curry bratwurst which was SO good and Kenneth tried out their normal bratwursts and fries. It was so yummy. We also bought some yummy chocolate from the store. While in town we stopped at a local church that was cool because it looked like a castle. We drove around for kicks - but spent the entire next day there...so that's the next post!
After getting back home, we walked across the field to hike in the woods and to check out our next days climbing area. It is absolutely GORGEOUS there!
My favorite green color |

This was at the base of the trail...yes, this is someone's home! Whether or not it is a bum or not... |
View of the castle ruins - definitely had to find the trail up to it! |
Goats grazing on the old castle ruins |
I'll admit - I was a little hesitant about the goats! They were everywhere, and they were jumping, falling and fighting... |
Kenneth thought I was funny...he loved them! |
I've never seen one like this before! ;) |
