New Jack City

I'm playing major catch-up here.  We headed to New Jack City (about an hour north east) for Kenneth's 4 day weekend in mid November.  We actually headed to Joshua Tree first, but after finding zero campsites, we headed to New Jack City instead.  New Jack City is fabulous because there are very few people there - which means open camp grounds, and open climbing areas - and it doesn't cost anything to get in.  So, for those of you who want to join us on a fun camping/climbing adventure, please let us know!  Anyway, here are some photos:

It was SO bright!  Danny loved to slide down all these rocks :)

The star picture is just the product of a really long (30 minute) exposure. All the stars rotate around the north star, so if you expose it long enough this is what you get.
