PICTURES TO COME...I PROMISE!

Alright! It's about time I updated this blog!

Christmas was wonderful! Kenneth and I drove out to California along with my sister Alisha and spent lots of time at Pa A's place, with my mom and saw all my cute nieces and nephews! It was relaxing and fun to see family and friends!

Our anniversary was also during the Christmas Break (Dec 29th). Whoo hoo! TWO WHOLE YEARS! Go us! Haha! Anyway, we made plans to go down to San Francisco, and my brother Michael and his wife Kim also made plans to go down there. So, we ended up combining our afternoon plans. We went to Muir woods and saw the amazing Redwoods there, walked across (half) of the Golden Gate Bridge (and they had spitting contests to see how long it took to hit the water...15 seconds!) and then went to the Pier for bread bowls (AMAZING!!) and free chocolate samples at Ghiradellis. Afterwards we dropped Michael and Kim off at their hotel and then we headed to ours in Hayward. The next day we went to the Oakland Temple. I have never been there before and had a good time! Afterwards we had some chinese food (which unfortunately was NASTY!) and Kenneth and I headed for Reno.

We decided that we did NOT want to drive the straight 12 hours or so from San Francisco to Salt Lake, so we stayed in Reno for a night. Let me tell you...it took us like 30 min to find a Taco Bell, you have to PAY to watch any TV there, and there was only lukewarm water for the shower. How lame is that! Anyway, we were excited to leave the next morning and get back to our home!

Well, that is basically the end of that trip. I promise to include pictures ASAP. Look back for fun with sledding!!

Sounds like you had a fun road trip yourself...minus the Chinese food and the whole Reno fiasco! Hope everything is going great for you. How is 3 form doing these days? Happy Anniversary!!!

I'm so glad that you two do fun things while you don't have kids. I absolutely LOVE having children, but they do make it more difficult to do certain things (rock climbing for instance). Glad you guys had a great time and got home safely!! We miss you!
