Little Danny is growing up! He is now 5lb 5 oz. He is getting so big!! I can totally tell that he is way bigger than he was at birth. He's beefing up a little and doesn't feel so fragile. He's got some meat on his bones at last! It kind of cracks me up though because he is still WAY smaller than most babies...and he is almost 3 weeks old!
He is also doing great with his feedings! He eats between 11-19 minutes per feeding (10 minutes is considered a full feeding). They were going to move him to Stage 3 feeding starting this morning, but last night he didn't quite complete his nightly bottle, so they gave him one more night. Hopefully starting tomorrow morning we will be on Stage 3!! The nurse said that usually the transition from Stage 2 to Stage 3 is the hardest and longest for most premies - and typically it goes very fast from there! I SURE HOPE SO! :)
